Costumer Reviews

After spending a while reading all of the reviews of this cable, and similar cables on Amazon, I decided to try this cable for use with my iPhone 4, as it seemed to be marginally better than the others. As iPhone4 wasn't specifically listed in the description, I contacted the seller (Jazooli) who confirmed it was compatible. Placed order with Amazon on Wednesday night, received dispatch notification from Jazooli on Thursday, and it arrived on Saturday, 2 days ahead of schedule. Pleased with delivery.

This cable tries hard to look like the new Apple cable, and it's not one of the old ones, with the buttons on the side. It was only when I compared it with the cable that came with the phone, that I spotted some minor differences. The 30 pin adaptor is almost identical, except it's 1mm taller, and maybe 1mm wider than the original. The adaptor 'feels' less solid than the original, and when connected the plastic isn't quite vertical. Removing it from the phone is a little difficult, and suspect it requires more care to make sure it comes out cleanly

The USB adaptor is more noticably different - rounded shoulders instead of flat, but it connects up ok.

However, the cable seems to work ok. iTunes recognises the phone, it syncs, and charges. I have only used it a few times so far, but am happy that is does the job, and for a bargain price. I don't have a Bumper yet, so can't verify that it will fit. As the 30pin is slightly wider, then that could be a problem

This looks like a bargain but it does not fit my I phone 3 Gs. Looks just like the real thing only slightly bigger. Just a shame that it does not work.
